How my coaching system works

The coaching I do is facilitated using an online coaching program TrainingBible.com. I have found this program to be highly effective in administering training schedules and collecting real-time data on my clients (given they log in and provide it).   The schedules that I develop are customized to you as an athlete, taking into account your time, schedule, background, strengths, and limiters to name a few.   All athletes I coach are required to use a HR monitor for training and I also suggest that my clients use a GPS based pace watch (Garmin Forerunner 201 - preferred).   These tools insure that my clients are getting in the most effective training in the least amount of time.   The principles I use with all my coaching is based on the leading principles in the sport.   I am in regular contact with many leading coaches in the sport including Joe Friel. I was recently accepted (Jan 9, 2004) as one of Joe Friel's Ultrafit coaches.   A sought after designation that required extensive testing, application and review process.   Over 50 coaches apply each year and they only accept 8-10.
